The 4thGuangzhou International Conference on Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine will be held at Guangzhou, December 17th to 20th, 2011.

      The conference will focus on the following topics: reprogramming of stem cell, chemical biology research in stem cell, applied research in embryonic and somatic stem cells, stem cell and drug R&D, development and mode animal research, stem cell biology and cloning. The conference will invite members of the CAS Overseas Innovation Team on stem cells and cloning, expert panel members of the national key project on Development and Procreation, the nation's 973 Project chief scientists and other professionals of the area from all over the world.

      This conference is sponsored by the Department of Basic Research, Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Institute of Life Sciences and Biological Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province, the Science and Technology Department of Guangzhou Municipal Government and the Chinese Society for Cell Biology. The organizer is the Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, CAS, with the support of Guangzhou Biological Engineering Center.
